Crowell &amp; Co.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Estimated year of printing: 1900<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Notes:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No copyright or publishing dates given<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The Prairie<\/em> was first published in 1827, and is part of <em>The Leatherstocking Tales<\/em>.&nbsp; <em>The Leatherstocking Tales <\/em>is a series of 5 books set in the 1700\u2019s which tell the story of a frontiersman in the Iroquois area of central New York.&nbsp; The most well known of the books is <em>The Last of&nbsp; the Mohicans<\/em>, which has since been adapted into movies and television shows.&nbsp; <em>The Prairie<\/em> is chronologically the fifth and final book, but was the third in publication order. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This book was challenging to date, as it contains no copyright or publication year.&nbsp; The publisher, Thomas Y.
