Whoa! Do you want to know (or care) why there haven't been any additions here since the 7th? Do you? Well, I'll tell ya! I live up here in New Hampshire and I (and hundreds of thousands of others) lost my power (for 65 hours) 'cause of the snow. Obviously I couldn't add anything here. But now I'm back... Jack! :)

I could only find three (3) MAD websites on the internet and two of 'em belonged to the same guy! I hope you know your site totally kicks some serious a**. If you got in league with MAD and actually contacted them, do you think they'd let you reproduce and scan issues onto the internet? Hey time does it and their not half as popular as MAD is. Contact them and find out. Even though I'm a wholehearted subscriber and veteran, I still think that if you at least scanned parts of each issue onto your website that it would boost sales and MAD would pay you plenty for it. One more question for ya, why doesn't MAD have an official website all their own? Why do they have to leave it up to people like you? Write back. Feel free to post this on your website and don't ferget to ask MAD for permission to reproduce and scan bits and pieces of their 'zine onto your site!

Well, you see, I take your opinion very seriously, K. So, after getting your letter, I contacted Jonathan Schneider at MAD and asked about getting info from him. He said that because of the AOL area, they aren't allowed "to encourage unofficial web fanzines." But through my sixth sense, I'm sure that Jonathan would endorse this site if he could! Who wouldn't? :) Rock on!

See, with e-mail being free and any freak able to use it, we get stuff like this. When will it stop? Ahhh!
would you happen to have a picture of Alfred Newman as a klingon?

thanks

-Ron Pritchett

No, and I"m sure you wouldn't want to see one... Klingons are weird looking enough as it is!
Hello, Someone mentioned that a previous issue of mad came with a CD (or was it the other way around?) Anyway which issue was that, it looks like I either missed it or got ripped off. Was Denis Leary on that cd?

-The Crimson Eyed

Well, the free (how much cheaper can you get?) CD was bundled with issue 350 (October, 1996). The cover has Alfred E.... holding a magnifying glass... with a weird grin on his face...
Hey, your cool!

And you're cool, too, for visiting this site! Now, move along!
